My Story 
Let me introduce myself: Julien Brossel, a "citizen of the world," as I like to describe myself.
I grew up in Africa, where I spent the first 19 years of my life, including 13 years in Madagascar.
Passionate about fishing and a lover of the sea since childhood, I settled in Guadeloupe in 2001.
For more than 13 years, I have worked as a sport fishing instructor and guide, an activity that allows me to share my passion and experience with anglers from around the world.

Experience Gained on the Water
In my guiding activity in Guadeloupe, fishing equipment is used intensively, often under extremely demanding conditions:
- Battles with powerful fish
- Impacts and wear
- Saltwater exposure
- Constant humidity
Fishing reels are therefore put to a severe test, I would almost say abused.
Very quickly, maintaining and repairing equipment became an almost daily necessity to ensure the reliability of the gear used during offshore fishing trips.
Over the years, I have spent thousands of hours:
- Disassembling
- Cleaning
- Maintaining
- Repairing fishing reels
This experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how reels work, identify the most stressed components, and find the most reliable solutions to extend their lifespan.
