Service Terms and Warranty

Every mechanical service performed on a fishing reel carries an inherent level of risk related to the reel's age, condition, and overall state of wear.

In some cases, a reel may be considered beyond economical or practical repair, particularly when essential components are broken, missing, or no longer available from the manufacturer.

Special Cases

Severely Corroded or Older Reels

Fishing reels used extensively in saltwater environments may develop significant corrosion due to prolonged exposure to salt, moisture, or inadequate maintenance.

In these situations, screws, internal components, and mechanical parts may become seized, weakened, or extremely fragile.

Despite every precaution taken during disassembly, certain parts may break, deform, or become unusable because of their pre-existing condition.

The customer acknowledges that such situations may result from the original condition of the reel and not from the servicing process itself.

In these circumstances, the workshop cannot be held liable for damage caused by severe corrosion or age-related deterioration.

Previously Disassembled or Modified Reels

The workshop may accept reels that have previously been serviced, repaired, modified, or upgraded by third parties.

Such reels may contain:

  • Missing parts.
  • Incorrect assembly.
  • Non-compatible components.
  • Mechanical modifications or custom alterations.

The workshop cannot be held responsible for faults or malfunctions resulting from previous work carried out by others.

A thorough inspection will be performed to determine whether repair or restoration is possible.

Warranty

Our service warranty covers only:

  • Cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • Lubrication performed during servicing.
  • Replacement parts installed by the workshop.
  • The quality of assembly and workmanship.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by misuse or improper handling.
  • Corrosion resulting from subsequent use.
  • Damage occurring after the reel has been returned to the customer.
  • Future failures of components that were not replaced during the service.

Service Turnaround Times

Service times may vary depending on several factors, including:

  • Seasonal demand.
  • Workshop workload.
  • Availability of replacement parts.

On average, servicing and repairs may take anywhere from a few days to several weeks.

Every effort is made to complete work as efficiently as possible while maintaining high standards of quality.

Acceptance of Service Terms

Sending a fishing reel to our workshop constitutes acceptance of these service terms and conditions.

Our objective is always to provide honest advice, transparent communication, and professional workmanship while respecting the condition and history of every reel entrusted to us.
